Despite the predicted tightness of this round...

there is not a lot of dissent amongst the tipping models out there:

Swinburne and the bookies are in step with one another.  Only other differences are around Collingwood v Carlton (not surprising as it should be close from a model perspective with 8 v 9 but hopefully Carlton gets up otherwise final eight interest is all but over - unless Essendon get bumped out); similarly Gold Coast and Brisbane everybody is predicting to be close.  Hopefully North do the right thing by me and allow me to catch up one point.

The model even goes for Carlton for a streak prediction

The flexi options this week are widespread with seven games splitting the 100 flexi points with an estimated (max) of 165.  Hopefully our good recent form in flexi cracks 100 points again making it four weeks in a row and more than half of the rounds this year tipping more than 100 points (currently ranked in the top 1800).

Maximum streak tipping predicted for the year is 43 (if everything goes well); hoping for/ happy to get a high 20's at the moment.

That is all for this week - too much work travel and memos/ emails/ phone calls/ eating...
